Day 1: Datong

Morning: Visit Huayan Temple and Nine-Dragon Wall; lunch.

Afternoon: Explore Yungang Grottoes and Datong Ancient City Wall.

Morning: Drive to Hunyuan to visit Hanging Temple.

Afternoon: Drive to Wutai Mountain and visit Shuxiang Temple.

Day 3: Wutai Mountain → Taiyuan

Breakfast: Self-catered | Lunch: Self-catered | Dinner: Self-catered

Morning: Visit Wuye Temple, Bodhisattva Summit, Pagoda Courtyard Temple, and Xiantong Temple; lunch.

Afternoon: Visit Dailuo Summit, then drive to Taiyuan.

Accommodation: Taiyuan

Day 4: Taiyuan → Pingyao

Breakfast: Self-catered | Lunch: Self-catered | Dinner: Self-catered

Morning: Visit Qiao Family Courtyard.

Afternoon: Explore Pingyao Ancient City and watch the performance See Pingyao Again.

Day 5: Pingyao → Hukou

Morning: Drive to Xixian to visit Xiaoxitian (Little Western Paradise).

Afternoon: Drive to Hukou and visit Hukou Waterfall.

Day 6: Hukou → Taiyuan

Breakfast: Self-catered | Lunch: Self-catered | Dinner: Self-catered

Morning: Drive to Taiyuan.

Afternoon: Visit Jinci Temple or Shanxi Provincial Museum (closed on Mondays). The tour ends with disbandment on site.
